General Questions
Monitoring is a set of Scup searches, in which information is grouped and isolated from other monitorings.
"My monitorings" are monitorings that you created. "Monitorings to which I am a guest" are monitorings created by other users, to which you have been invited. You can be invited to be either an administrator or a user.
Item is every post found in a search.
They are the specific searches inside a given monitoring. I.E. when you tell the system to look for "nike" on Twitter, you will be creating a search.
Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr, Orkut, Google (Blogs, News and Alerts), Google Plus, Yahoo! Answers, Reclame Aqui, Wordpress, Slideshare, Foursquare, and RSS Feeds.
Yes. The Coverage addon is aimed at giving you return metrics. Which means it counts the number of followers of the user who posted something on Twitter and was captured by Scup; count how many times a blogpost captured by Scup was quoted in other networks (Twitter, Delicious, etc); count how many times a YouTube video captured by Scup was watched. Combining Filters and Tags, the addon can bring even more power to monitoring. An example is the possibility of creating a Filter in which, if there are any posts by a Twitter user with more than, let's say, 1,000 followers, that mention is tagged as, for example "influence". That way it is possible to get specific data on those users with more than 1,000 followers on monitor, reports, and relationship.
An addon is a set of Scup functions that are not included in the default accounts, but can be activated, unlocking extra functions on the tool. The Coverage addon has the objective of showing return data. Therefore, as a result, it is possible, for instance, to list the users with more followers in your monitoring and generate return graphics on Twitter (sum of followers of all those who mentioned the brand).
The export and item limit in your account is reset on a monthly basis, according to the date of purchase. I.E. if you purchased your plan on 11/10, the total of items in your plan will count until 12/9. On 12/10 the counting of items is reset. The items collected before this period are considered to be history and will not be included in the total of items or export.

The item will be ignored by one of the searches. This way the data is kept uniquely, making the organization, accompaniment, and report generating easier. The downside is that this item is ignored in one of the searches and will not be present in this search's specific statistics.

Yes, you can answer Twitter users through Scup. To do this you need to register an account in the tool.
This can happen in two situations: either you have not registered a Twitter account or you are trying to answer to a kind of commentary that does not support answers, e.g. a headline shown in Google News does not support answers through Scup. E.g.:
Questions about Reports
The statistics trace the search results metrics. That way you can see the results in graphics and follow the change through the monitoring.
The best way to do this is to create a new monitoring for each competitor. Set these monitorings with the fonts and keywords you want. Then, in the "statistics" tab, just access "monitoring comparison" and compare your brand's monitoring and your competitor's.
